Artist's Comments

When playing tag with lynx, it's very important a microgryphon consider the limitations of airbrakes and turning radius. Otherwise...pounce, gulp, and the victor turns a bemused smirk at your sudden predicament.

Ah, cartoon humor. I think Sylvester & Tweety (or perhaps Tom & Jerry?) perfected this type of gag back in the 50's, albeit with far more variety (anvil, shovel, guard dog, family car....).

Commission from AC '08. First time drawing a lynx; I've decided they're quite fun to color with marker and pencils - lots of layering and blending and accidental fur-texture. :3 Micron inks and Prismacolor markers/pencils on Bristol board.

Cute lynx! Nice work. I love the patterns on the fur, and also the way the fur was drawn. Keep up the great work! :)

If you have time, please take a look at my artwork. Thanks! :D

And Perky's pet human loved it. Said that you captured the cat-that-ate-the-canary look just perfect, and your first attempt at a lynx turned out really damn good -- anatomically it's just about perfect.

Great job, Jennies. :)
