While sculpting new gumdrops, I decided to try my hand at a jackal. And, since the wonders of Egypt are still fresh in my mind, he simply had to be decked out in full golden splendor. (Also, he insisted I name him Anubis, and who am I to argue with my creativity demons?) He's about the size of a nickel.
Sculpy clay and acrylic paints, with satin-finish varnish (at least on the final image w/background) for weatherproofing.  For sale at AC 09! |
